BBQ Guru DigiQ II for the small

I will be getting the Digi II real soon. I already have the adapter to the small thanks to Fiero Guy (Mike).

My question is since I will mostly using it on my large BGE should I get the 10 cfm fan and if so will that work with the adapter for the small?

I am excited to finally be able to get a Digi Q but I am gald I have learned how to do low & slows without assistance from mechanical tools.... :silly:

I would Kim. You can always close the damper more but you have the extra air if you need it.
I love mine but only use it if I'm busy or for overnighters. Just started some ribs without it.
Still fun to regulate by hand but a good nights sleep is great.

I use the 10CFM fan on my small all the time. It's one of the tests I do for each charcoal review. The 4 will work fine on both large and small, but the 10 doesn't cost much more so why not....
