Day two...already been to Lowes once for supplies....
I used 'Scoop" (our 30+ pound Hemmingway) to test the strength of the table top..
Then it was time to 'test fit' the BGE...after my midnight deck staining project had dried..now it's back to Lowes to pick up the ceramic tiles they are cutting for me...got to get back in operation by supper time you know!
Progress updates on my BGE Blog site as well.

Is that a tiger cub on the table?

Quality work. Very nice.
I like how you did the legs to provide extra support for the bottom shelf. I used jackstuds under the eggs on mine, but mine is not mobile.
I am re-doing my deck this spring and plan to build a whole new cooking area once the deck is done, so I am always looking at table builds to get ideas.
Keep the photos coming. -
I think the cat eats EVERYTHING that gets cooked on the Egg. . .

Looks great! The egg looks happy already.

Looks great! What size Egg is that?
Tile under the Egg looks a little thin, though, you might want to have a backup plan. -
Very nice looking project.
Interesting you left one mate on the egg. Could prove to be some well needed space when up and more compact when down.
Thinking out loud, should the casters be larger & should some be locking.
Thanks for sharing the progress with us.

LARGE BGE, Table is 31.5 x 60 x 34Visit my blog, dedicated to my Big Green Egg Recipies at http://www.bigtsbge.blogspot.com You can also follow my posts on FaceBook under the name Keep On Eggin' or the link http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Keep-On-Eggin/198049930216241

Thanks. I looked at the locking and opted out, what I wanted was 2 straight and 2 rotating but their inventory was out. The next size up took a larger base than the 4.x 4 layout and these casters are rated at 250 each. It seems to roll okay so far.Visit my blog, dedicated to my Big Green Egg Recipies at http://www.bigtsbge.blogspot.com You can also follow my posts on FaceBook under the name Keep On Eggin' or the link http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Keep-On-Eggin/198049930216241

Great looking table. A ceramic top is a good choice IMHO.
