Any serious "smoker" knows not to use lighter fluid for starting the charcoal. Please stop using it in your "you can start this grill in 10 minutes" spiel.

nobody here uses lighter fluid, and the company expressly says NOT to in its literature. other than that, you were correct.

What eggsactly is wrong with using petro chemicals to light charcoal? i actualy enjoy the aftertaste of the petroleum distillates on the tongue. It brings back fond memories of family get togethers and back yard cook-outs. and with that said and the price of gas that is just my $1.02 cents.
