What size cast iron for Large Egg

What is the best size to get? I want to get close to the fire and have a spider.

Any thoughts?

    The large cooking surface dia. is about 18". The 10" Lodge will fit but anything larger will require that you cut/grind the handle off (as many here do). Happy searing! 8 - )

    it says on his site that a medium cast iron grid works on the large w/ the spider ;)
