I tried country style ribs on the Egg, did not come out so good. I hope you have better luck. I have had my Egg now for 2 months, and am still trying to get the hang of cooking on it. I talked my dad into getting it for my birthday, and man is he mad. He thinks it was a waste of money since I burned an $80 rib roast on it.

It is friday and the ribs came out good. I kept the temp at 250 for about 3 hrs., they where very moist and I only used a few chips for smoking. You said you burnt them, did you use a plate setter so it cooked indirect? let me know.
