Bbq Sauces, Rubs Marinades For Dummies
The book was just released this week.

pg 86, 87 and 182 - Smoked Signals BBQ recipes
They changed my recipe for chicken a little but it's close enough.

Tom Schneider is a BBQ buddy from Indy and asked me to contribute to the book. Thought it would be fun but never thought I would get in. Although they did call me once while I was in the Minn airport ... the test kitchen had some questions. I about dropped my beer ... the test kitchen needed me? About the only cooler thing would have been Food Network Bobby Flay throwdown ... (by the way I'm ready any time Bobby).

Anyway ... It was totally crazy last night when my free contributors copy showed up on the doorstep. How cool is that??

Sorry if I'm over the moon ... I just think its cool. Got my first Grand last year, caterings going well this year and now I'm in a book. Guess its time to hang up the tongs and go into retirement.

Congrats, know what you mean. I have written 3 articles for National Car Wash Magazines. Great feeling to know your peers like your work. Look forward to more calls, that is what happened to me after the first one.

    Retirement, my foot!

Soon as I get a new hero, he's talking about retiring. Get out there and put 'em to shame, man!

Congratulations. What a cool thing to have happen.

Congrats, SS. I might just pick up a copy of that. Reminds me of when I first got published. It started out, "I'm a student at a small midwestern university, and I never believed the stories I read in your magazine until one night..."
