Morning All,
My better half is not to happy with the mess I make when cooking bacon in the kitchen. Does anyone cook their bacon on their egg?
My concern is spattering bacon grease affecting the eggs porosity (if that's a real word).
Thanks in advance.

Indeed they do, and as soon as those makin bacon eggsperts awaken you will be told how. I will also copy down their method. Many good cooks toward you and yours. Miles out.

I do my beacon on my large, with low heat and raised grid. I am a little concerned of too much splatter in the egg with grease fire. I am sure someone has a better way, looking forward on feed back also on this subject. Oh yeah have to keep the wife happy, we all know who the boss really is in life.

I normally make bacon using a pork tenderloin and Thirdeye's buckboard bacon advise. I like really lean bacon so not much splatter. Sorry.
Here is the link to his buckboard bacon page.

i do bacon on teh egg all the time sometiems just on the grid direct other times i use a rack over a 1/2 steam tray pan. and hang the bacon from the rack . does not much matter i have not had a grease problem but i only cook 6-9 slices at a time. and if you are worried about grease just burn off at 600 when you are finished. the only bacon problem i ever had was the first time i tried to make double smoked and i used too much hickory it was bitter and i had to toss it.
