Gettin' close! I need those recipes.....when you send them to me, leave off the fractions, please, and use the decimal format. Also, please include your egg setup info, such as plate setter (legs up or down), raised grid, spacers, temp., etc..........

Don't you usually get the recipes after the fest? Because we probably won't know what we're cooking until it's cooked. :P

Thanks, Randy. I told him the same thing yesterday ... I spent hours trying to figure out what I do before I do it...hee...hee...no such luck yet.Judy

What's the recipe for those jalapeno 'boats' I saw earlier? And, don't forget to include your egg setup! :woohoo: -
Are you guys flying into Orlando or Tampa? We are scheduled to arrive Orlando at 1:15 Thursday. -RP

Judy, this may come as a complete surprise to some of you all, but there are actually some people who 'know' what they're going to cook ahead of time!? Can you imagine?? :woohoo:

I mixed one part cheese with an equal amount of Italian sausage and added some marinara sauce to the mix, just enough to flavor it. Cooked it indirect on a raised grid to 170 degrees internal. -RP

That's nice, Randy! But, I need the recipe title, list of ingredients, prep. procedure, indirect setup, and anything else you can think of!? Geeeezzzzz
-
Naaaaa!!! They just have a plan and stick with it until the last minute. They then cook something else.
Our approach is to want to cook about ten different things but can't settle on one or two. Even if we did settle on one we might get there and decide to cook something else.
Whatever we cook, most likely it will start out as a former chicken.

Joan and I should be pulling in about 3 p.m. or sooner. If I ever catch up with Evans, we'll get together Thursday afternoon with ya'll and the Tuscon contingent. You haven't lived until you've gone grocery shopping with Evans! :woohoo:

The store will never be the same....
RichardFL told us about a great Chinese restaurant in the other Holiday Inn to maybe try on Thursday night. We can all talk about it when we meet up at the hotel Thursday afternoon....Judy

If the Chickens or the AZRP's get in before you are able to check in, feel free to wander over to the park and hang out in Cabin #9. We'll be there from Wednesday onward....
We're really looking forward to seeing everyone! -
That wouldn't be anyone cooking the same chili recipe every year, would it?? LOL
-
Certainly hope we are not having chicken fingers. Sorry for your pain. LOL
