Flatbread on the BGE?

Has anyone tried flatbread on the BGE? I assume I can do it just like pissa but honestly my luck with Pizza has been spotty.[p]Thanks

Never tried flatbread. LOVE making pizza. I follow the advice on the link and use dough purchased from the local pizza joint. Makes the best brick oven style pizza.
Usually use jar sauce (tomato and basil)...tastes best with my own sauce receipe. Usually can't keep up with the demand once I start bringing them off the grill.

Flatbreads are great baked in the Egg. I do Naan, Focaccia, Pita, several griddle breads, skillet breads, and others. If it can be baked in your kitchen oven, it can also be baked in your Egg.

Do you just get it up to 450 in the raised pizza stone? Cook on side...put the toppings on the cooked side and the cook again? Just a few minutes per side? :ermm: -

Sorry the question was related to baking flatbread with toppings like chicken, basil, tomato, etc.. Specifically, should grill be at 450 degrees? Additionally, I was validating the process of cooking on one side first....then putting on our toppings on the cooked side and putting back on the grill til done.

There is a little box up near the top of the page on the left hand side that says search forum and in that box, put these words.
