meat claw

I seem to remember seeing in some pictures posted here a claw used to shred pork and beef. I have looked every place I can think of and have been unable to find any. :unsure: can any one offer a suggestion as to where I might buy one? thanks in advance

I believe they are called bear claws and you can get them from cajun classic. Maybe Cabela's and/or bass pro as well.

IMHO - pulling with your hands (gloves of course) is part of the experience! But hey, I still change my own oil!

I did the first one with a fork and fingers but thought I might get a better job with the claws. btw I change my own oil too but at 73 its getting harder.

I've posted this picture a few times. They make great progress at ripping into several butts, but just for one butt I seldom get them out anymore. Besides I like my pulled pork shredded finer than the job these do. One word of caution - if you have any small children then please treat these as you do knifes! In immature hands these bear claws are dangerous as they are surprisingly sharp and can rip flesh with ease!
