Going to meet a bunch of friends for the weekend. My contribution to the eats is ribs, italian sausage stuffed mushrooms, and Cin chili.

Tried a different setup with the fire bricks instead of using SS nuts, bolts, washers like below. I like the bricks - easy to set up and easy to take down.

proabably a stupid question but did the steam from the chili affect the crisping of the cheese?

No affect on the cheese. I actually had the shrooms on for a while before I put the chili on which was cooked in the house - thought I would put a little smoke on the chili.
