Morning All:
Got back from the cruise Sunday morning and finally got around to cooking again tonight. Nothing fancy, just some simple burgers. Half for tonight's dinner, other half for lunches later this week.
Done direct on tjv's adjustable rig, top level at about 375 dome temp.
Here is EggHatter's with some diced onions sauteed in balsamic, some munster cheese and BBQ sauce.
On Sunday evening we were sitting here about dinner time wondering "where is the buffet?" and "who is going to fix and serve us dinner?"
It was a fun trip, but it is even nicer to be back in my own bed and having Eggs for cooking on.

Good looking burgers. Looks like you need a few napkins for the bunned one, nice juicy burger.

Morning RichDTLC:
No, don't need napkins...juicy burgers are just and excuse to clean your fingers by licking them...can't waste any of that good juice. Thanks for the kind words.Have a GREAT day!

No doubt the "Hatter" sure can build a burger! That's worth wearing your tongue out! Say "Hello" to Kathy from Me and the boys. They refer to her as "that nice lady who smiled all the time" at the Eggfest.

Jay,
How did you saute the onions in balsamic? Sounds delicious. Do you add the balsamic at the begining or towards the end of the saute?
thanks -
Morning pyro:
I'll have to talk with EggHatter about that as she was the one that prepared the onions. I'll check with her tonight when I get home and post her reply.Have a GREAT day!

Morning pyro:
Straight from EggHatter's mouth...started the onions with a couple pats of butter over medium to high heat, then when they had softened some added a tablespoon of balsamic. Sounds pretty simple.Have a GREAT day!

thank you...
I'm a big fan of sauted onions. Can't wait till I try the balsamic version.
