Morning All:[p]Finally got a few minutes to post the results of the prime rib dinner done last Friday (the link below covers the prep work). This started as a 9.75#, 5-bone rib that I cut into two pieces.[p]Here they are right after coming off the egg.[p]PC280016.jpg[p]a little closer look.[p]PC280004.jpg[p]They were cooked indirect at about 325 until an internal temp of 123 - 125 (probably should have pulled closer to 120). They were just a little more medium than rare (at least the smaller one was).[p]PC280006.jpg[p]Also did some baked potatoes and a corn souffle (about half way through cooking the souffle).[p]PC280015.jpg[p]and the finished souffle.[p]PC280007.jpg[p]Once I pulled the prime rib off, did the dinner rolls...took a Pillsbury "French Loaf" and cut into eight slices per roll, placed on a pan and baked at 425 til done.[p]PC280005.jpg[p]Definitely a meal worth waiting for the family to come in on Friday.[p]Have a GREAT day!
