help for beer chicken

I would like to make beer chicken, just bought a weber chicken holder made for beer chicken do you marinate, brine what temp is needed direct or indirect and is there a sauce to finish with thank you

I like to use Brant's Brined Beer Butt Bird. It's a little more work but I like it so much I will do my turkey using his chicken brine method.[p]Good Luck,

Are you talking about a beer butt chicken? If so, you just empty 40 % of a beer out(glug,glug,aaah) and add spices/flavors that you would like. I always throw in some jamacain jerk, garlic, onion, and what ever you hope will permiate the meat from the interior cavity. I like to inject/brine. I would use a drip pan if your new holder doesn't capture the grease..there's alot!! You can always take the drippings and make gravy..but the chick should be pretty juicy already. If you can SAFELY invert the chicken so that it cooks upsidedown, IMO, you'll get a better final product. HTH
