I know it's a little early, but I am chomping at the bit. Anyone have an update on the Eggfest here in the Austin Area. Really looking forward to attending and contributing.

Being a new egger, and new on the board this Eggfest in Austin sounds inviting to me. I haven't seen any posting about one.
Mr. EagerEgger you look like a really nice guy. Would you post something if and when you find out any particulars? I was a RR neighbor...lived in Georgetown before getting lost and ending up north of Dallas.

EagerEgger, yes you are early - about 8 months early. But start planning now because next April/May Grillmeister will again put on the one, the only "Texas EGGfest"

Man,,,,,,,,I hope it's not scheduled in April. That's my out of country time. I would love to go to one, not only for the good food, but to meet the good people that's been answering a lot of my questions.

I understand BBQ Outfitters has worked out the issue of providing the BGE's for Egg Fest. There are three parks in the Austin area than are being considered for the event. No firm date yet.

Never been to Salado but we'll be going to the Scottish Clan Gathering and Highland Games in November. We volunteered to man the Clan MacMillan Society of Texas tent.
