Butt Help 2 part Question

I have a crovaced butt 14.4 lbs I forgot to lay out. It is in the sink in cold warter thawing can I speed the process. What is the estimated cook time? My Air National Guard (Powere Pro Shop) thanks you in advance.

    Gene613,[p]That is pretty big. Are you sure it is not two 7 pounders in the same package?[p]1-1/2 hours to 2 hours per pound is the rule of thumb when cooking at 250°. For me, 7 or 8 pounders seem to take right at 16 hours.[p]~thirdeye~
