I have a Black & Decker cheapo vacuum sealer, and am planning to upgrade to a Foodsaver. Does anyone have model preferences, experience, etc.? I need one that I can seal without pulling the full vacuum, since I do a lot of bread. The Foodsaver site has the model 840 for $79 on special, and Sam's has the 2480 for $109.
Thanks
Thanks

uncbbq,[p]Go for the larger model.

uncbbq, I have the 2490, use it all the time, can cut it off, so i don't vacum too tight, hth j.c.

uncbbq,[p] Get the 2480. The only difference between the 2480 and the 2490 is the case.[p]

Thanks, guys. The larger one at Sam's it will be.
