Jeff ,[p]Excellent! It is my favourite method for whole chickens. I tried the beer butt method but found that the Spatchcocked birds were every bit as moist and juicy, less cumbersome and took less time to cook. If you didn't try it this time, I'd suggest using the cornstarch/dry rub mix to lightly dust the chicken before you place it on the egg. The skin crisps up real nice.[p]Check out the dizzy pig website for some more excellent recipes. Wess B's site is a really good source of info too.
