bbqdiva,[p]Try the Chris Lilly shoulder injection (In barbecue circles, it's just about the worst kept secret on the internet) Since you must be okay with the MSG in Fab products, maybe add some. You can add some fine ground rub too. I use a hair more than the 1/2 oz per pound, but here is Chris's recipe:[p]~thirdeye~[p]3/4 cup apple juice
    1/2 cup water
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/4 cup salt
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce[p]Inject shoulder with injection solution using 1/2 oz. (1 tablespoon) per pound.

    Happy Trails
