I need advice on what type paver stone to put my egg on.(that is the bottom resting right on the stone)
i bought one from Lowe's - looked like a concrete casting 18x18"x 1.5" and it cracked on the first cook

I have used the same stone under my extra-large egg since March with no problem. I have been using a round concrete paver stone under my medium egg for the past 4 yrs with no problems. Maybe you got a defective stone.
