Buying a BGE
Stieet
Posts: 19
Just read an article in Food&Wine June 2006, which used another brand of smoker to grill Chinese-style ribs with Guava Barbecue Sauce even though the author thought his BGE was one of his best grills. My question is, can the BGE do this recipe as well as the smoker the author used? I would think so based upon the BGE website information. Just need some verification before I go out and buy my first BGE. Hope this isn't considered confrontational.

Bruce,
Rest assured, the BGE can handle any recipe that can be done in a cooker.

Bruce, about the only thing I can't cook on the Egg that we cook elsewhere is a whole hog.As Jake and Sundown said, If it can be cooked in a oven the Egg can handle it. There is a learning curve but you will find it an easy one. Problem when you start cooking ask the question here. 7/24 You will get an answer. [p]Good Luck with your Egg,
