<p />it sure makes a great snack with a cold brew. The big problem with Jerky is that by the time the samples have been sampled, the end result reduces by about 1/4.[p]I think Old Dave is on to something here - started with the "River City Beef Jerky" recipe and replaced the Molasses with maple syrup - I was going to make his 'sorghum' variety, but couldn't find the 'sorghum' - I also forgot to add the brown sugar - sometime this next week I'll post an update to the "River City Beef Jerky" recipe - but it's almost a different recipe - maybe we'll change the name![p]Good Stuff!

Gordon, I just sat down to check for replies about my potato question and with me I had a bottle of Hooch and 5 pieces of your jerky from last weekend. Immediately I thought WOW, do we know how to relax on a rainy afternoon in the Peoria area or what? I'm trying that Miracle Meat Loaf recipe tonight for the first time and that's what prompted the bp question. Thanks for your response!
