Are you really outside today? This wind is brutal, not to mention the 12 Deg temps. My brine partially froze sitting out on the proch...it was a balmy 36 when I set it out there last night.[p]Hats off to you if you're sticking to plan. On second thought, leave your hat on. Drink that rum thing you got real fast instead...that's a much better way to induce brain freeze!

    WDAN,
I'm pumped and the egg is ready to go, all cleaned and loaded with fresh lump. Almost time to rock and roll. Diane is making two pies, one with squash. I've already started the gravy and will finish it with pan drippings from the turkey. Brined turkey for 48 hours, now drying and warming up in the kitchen.
Time to make a belly warmer then fire up the egg. Any day I'm egging is a good day.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your girls.
    Clay

Way to go , Hoss, you da man! My 23 lb-er is in the oven (sheesh), and looking real done on the outside, but my Thermapen says it has about 20 deg's to go.[p]Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
