New gasket install made easier!

Options
I purchased a Rutland from Ron for my LBGE.  It has been sitting on the shop desk since it arrived.  I am in need of a new firebox, it's cracked but not broken, yet.  Then this past weekend I discovered a crack on the bottom of the lower half.  My dealer is good to go, just need to get her pics.  I am thinking the new lower gasket will not be too difficult to remove, and I can clean the upper in the shop away from the bugs and heat.  Time for new bands, and the vinyl tips on the nest need replacing.  I am getting the new bands from the dealer, they have been good to deal with.  I guess I need to contact the mother ship for the nest tip thingies.  Got two sons in law close by, not sweating the labor part.
