Readying an older BGE: what steps should I take?

I was given an older BGE large that had been used mostly for searing and cooking steaks. I replaced the gasket and fire ring and fire box. The bolts are rusted and it sat out in the rain for a few months but otherwise mechanically works fine.
Should I tighten anything or spray WD40 anywhere? Should I just use it? I smoke meat for the most part. Thanks.

Welcome and yes tighten every bolt on it as well as the nest. Be sure to ensure that the band bolts are tight. (The bolts should be bent.)

Welcome aboard and do what @DoubleEgger said. Ive had my large outside for close to 15 years and have never lubricated the hinges, but I don't think it would hurt.
