I have a flat in the freezer and have never cooked a brisket before. I would like to try it for lunch one day this weekend. Any advice on cooking time/temp? Thanks in advance.

It’s tough to nail a flat as they get dry easily. Personally, if I had a flat, I’d braise it. I smoke packers, flats I’ll usually corn and make Ruebens a week later. Temp I like is 250-275. Time is a wildcard based upon the size and grade. Finished when it probes easily.Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga
