Frozen (cooked) Brisket... Worth trying to salvage?

I had a section (flat & point) from our last cook that didn't get finished before we left town one day. Cooled it, wrapped tight, and froze the unused cooked meat. Pulled it yesterday and thawed it... Thinking I could cube it and go for some burnt ends? I've never frozen cooked meat and gone for a second cook after. Love to hear if any of you have done this before, Or if I 'm crazy for trying this.

I've used cooked brisket from the freezer a lot, never tried to do it as burnt ends. I would think it would be a little dry. It will make great chili or your favorite bean recipe.
LBGE - I like the hot stuff. The big dry San Joaquin Valley, Clovis, CA -
Give it a whirl. I'd probably sauce it up good for the cook nd let the sauce reduce to keep it moist.

makes a great addition to chili. chop/chunk it up and it will be one of your best chilis.

+1 for the chili. Letting the cooked brisket simmer for a couple hours in your chili gets it really tender. I normally cut it in cubes about an inch or inch and a half and let it cook for at least an hour and a half.
