I have recently moved to Washington DC and am having trouble finding quality meat. I moved from Chicago and the Meat Packing District  there was wonderful. You could buy large or small quantities of beef, pork, chicken, sausage for a reasonable price. 

Are there any recommendations in the DC area?

I've never purchased from them, because I live a few hours south, but Mclean has a butcher that is also a BGE dealer.  They are pretty highly reviewed online.

A little further down the road, Dizzy Pig is located in Manassas.  I'd bet they would know of some places in NOVA/DC if you gave them a call.
