SMOBOT Calibration

Does anyone recommend calibration prior to use?  Have your temp reasons been pretty accurate?

I haven't had any issues, but not sure how or what you'd calibrate anyway. The first time I used it I also ran a Maverick and checked the dome thermo and everything was as it should be.

Honestly didn’t think of it. Dome was close enough to the Smobot that I wasn’t concerned.

Pretty sure I calibrated with ice water mine a while back,  the manual have anything in it?

Mine does NOT need calibration! Just pulled the brisky, now in FTC. I am duly impressed with SMOBOT, a fun addition to the arsenal. Will post pics when I slice.

Looks good. how many house did you cook it and at what temp?

240 for 13 1/2 hrs. Pulled at IT of 204 degrees. The SMOBOT makes for some good sleeping!
