Ugly, but delicious …

… baked apples. This simple recipe called for the apples to be sliced in half first, then cored so you could shovel on the oat-based topping over the entire apple.

    With the thread title I thought there could be some entertainment this evening.  All's well here.  
    Looks quite tasty-hit 'em with some ice cream and you are good to go.

    Funny you post this. I was going to do a post about stuffed apples, but then I decided to wait until we go apple picking (planned for this weekend).  Still have to decide what I am going to stuff them with.... so many choices!
