Used my Thermoworks Smoke tonight for the first time. I previously had the Maverick ET 733 for which I think I paid nearly $70 for two years ago. I paid around $90 for the Thermoworks during their Fathers Day sale which I think was 10% off. It's worth the extra $30 or $20 just for ease of use. It automatically syncs with the receiver and adjust all your alarm temps is significantly easier. I wish I had not waited so long to pull the trigger.

I fully agree!! My ET733 had an issue with grate temp... never seemed to get it right. The other thing that I find useful on the SMOKE is the ability to calibrate it. Definitely the way to go!!
congrats!
