Well I think we all did a fair amount of time cozied up to the flames this weekend. I figured I would just go ahead and lump everything together in one post. First, Friday was some shrimp, corn, potatoes and garlic bread.

Next a few quick flat breads for the kids
Then of course prep that brisket
Toss some chicken wings and Moink balls on for all the "helpers" staying up until 2 am drinking and staring at temperature gauges (Moink balls were gone almost instantly)
Brisket comes off to rest
Make the jalapeño, chorizo, smoked Gouda, cream cheese bacon poppers
(it was the last one...I missed my photo op)
Then Monday morning the wife said she was pregnant, miserable, starving, and demanded pancakes. So I made her pregnant pancakes
And I thought I was done...got to my buddy's house last night for our Memorial Day party and his wife handed me a pack of burger meat and some hot dogs and said, and I quote, "I've been at the pool all day and need a shower. Do your thing."
So, burgers and dogs on a gasser. Kind of an anticlimactic finish to a long weekend.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need a Zyrtec, a shower, a big glass of water, and tonight I'm ordering ANYTHING without smoke. I'm thinking Thai.

Did brisket, pork belly meat candy, hot dogs, hamburger, filleted and fried the fish that the kids caught. Green Egg was in use from 4:30pm Saturday to 8:30pm Sunday. Was done with Egging it, but still eating leftovers cause they are there.
