My cap on the BGE is oozing out black junk onto the top of the egg. What is the best product to clear this varnish type stuff off the inside of the cap? Thank you and I look forward to y'all replies.

After doing the overnight oven cleaner cold treatment, I tried the warm method on the can. Preheat oven to 200, spray top, put in oven, turn off heat, let sit for 30 minutes, cool then wipe clean. Worked for me recently...Southlake, TX and Cowhouse Creek - King, TX. 2 Large, 1 Small and a lot of Eggcessories.
