CyberQ Probes

has anyone tried to make their own probes for their cyberQ? I've only had mine for 5 months and I've already gone through two pit probes. It's really a bummer they don't use better probes for this controller.

I've killed off probes from my igrill by not being the one to clean them after a cook. My wife dunked it in a sink full of water which is a big no-no for their probes. They are fragile, but I agree, 2 pit probes in 5 months is a bit excessive. Those don't get much movement from being pushed in and pulled out of meats; unless they were killed by heat on the wires......
