    Smoked with Peach for 5 hours, just some rub and 230F. No spritz, no sauce, just juicy.
    Oh and a Texas Mule.

    I grilled burgers and dogs today at church  for the seniors of our community.  No Muel's for me.  I almost forgot how to grill with both hands empty  =) .  In any case Friday will be rib day for me and I won't be at church.
    Oh yeah, do you know why you invite 2 baptist's to your cook-out?   If you only invite one he will drink all your beer.  B)

     Texas Mule is a better drink than a Moscow Mule. It is made with Tito's, distilled in Texas. Great Vodka.

    I can just visualize a relaxed attitude and feeling of contentment. Brother, that meal looks fine. I'm glad you're enjoying the mule too. I really enjoy them on occasion. What kind of ginger beer did you use?

    I got this at Costco. I don't know much about ginger beer, but this stuff is really good:

    we need an engineer to help science the shjt out of this...

    I hear people say the copper cups help keep the drink colder, or keep the ice longer.  How can that be if copper is a better than average thermal conductor?

    or is it just that it feels colder because your lips are touching a cup that conducts better?

    need to know before I invest.

    in related news, my son ordered a set of stainless pint glasses (cups?) and beer tastes great out of them, cup gets frosty cold, tastes cold, but I would imagine it would warm up more quickly than glass if one were to linger over their beer.
    THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

    @Legume
    Metal mugs due to their their thermal conductivity, get colder, faster, and actually helps sheild the heat from the outside. The copper also reflects the light from the sun, and the handles prevent your almost 100F body temp from touching th cups.
    The cold cups helps both the Ginger Beer maintain its fizz longer, and also makes the lime juice stand out more.
    The cups I bought are made of copper, and use the same metal, although a very thin film, and polished, as the Yeti, to further enhance the coldness of the drink.
    You were correct, the cold sensation when the cup touches your lips, adds to the drink itself.
    Actually, many more drinks would benefit from cold metals. A perfect example is a Mint Julep of Kentucky Derby Fame. Serve this in a glass, and you will throw it out after the first sip, but mix them and use a metal cup, they become drinkable.
