Hot Sticky Flappers

Wife randomly grabbed some chicken wings from the store. Tossed them in some hotsauce and a sweet rub I had and cooked them indirect for about an hour. Tossed them in hot sauce, butter, honey and other random cabinet findings. Went back in direct for another 5-10 minutes flipping often.
Notice my cast iron weber q100 grate that makes a great heat deflector and direct cooking grate!

Looks good to me. The only problem I see with those photos is that there would not appear to be enough for my wife to also enjoy.

I agree, those look great! But dude, they sell big boxes of wings, you need to get yourself one of those boxes.

I don't have any first-hand experience with a Joe, but I doubt even the most determined BGE loyalist could tell the difference in a blind taste test.

Awesome! I guess you could call those flappers, but the way I was brought up the tips (or point) were usually the cooks treat or rendered for broth, while the two bone part of the wing is called a flapper, the other single bone part is a drummer, could be a Canuckistan thing....regardless, sticky is good!
