<p />Pictured is the main course for tonight. Smoked Turkey. The 7lb turkey breast is plugged with the new Nu-Temp wireless thermometer. As I type this I can see the display says 157 internal. The alarm will sound in a few minutes. Ohhh, 158 deg now. The thermometer works very well but the cable is delicate - more so than a Polder probe which I have had up to 500 deg (wrapped in foil). I let the dome temp hit 400 at one point early on and - "end of transmission" on the wireless probe. OK, keep the probe under 350 deg!! No matter if its wrapped. My second back-up probe has been going strong -- 158.5 deg now and 350 deg dome.[p]Tim
