Was able to take the tour of the Constitution some years back. Really enjoyable. Would love to see all of those ships this summer.
While there we were walking through Boston Common. There was a guy dressed like he was from the 1700's telling people the history of the park. We figured he would pass the hat at the end of the deal. So he and crowd move on to a different area and we followed. He tells us this area was where they hanged witches, etc. Then a little later he says "oh, I see our transportation has arrived" as a trolley rolled up. We felt bad for crashing the party. The little bit we saw was interesting, so we took the tour the next day.
Boston must be one of the best cities for walking, at least during non winter months. -
I remember going to see the tall ships in New London CT in 2000. Unforgettable.Cincinnati, Ohio. Large BGE since 2011. Still learning.

That's super cool. Might have to take that in. I've been looking for an extra push in the direction of a Boston trip.Slumming it in Aiken, SC.

I was lucky to be able see the USS Constellation on a near-daily basis when working in Baltimore. Love the tall ships. This coupled with a game at Fenway would make a great weekend in Boston.

I'm gonna look into this too. Never been to Beantown and this sounds like a good way to escape the stifling Georgia heat if only for a little while.

Those are some pretty sailing ships!“There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.”

Well it appears that the tall ships and the Sox's don't agree. The ships will be in town the weekend of the 17th, but the Sox will be out of town. http://www.masslive.com/news/boston/index.ssf/2016/06/here_is_the_schedule_for_sail.htmlSlumming it in Aiken, SC.
