300 Wings pieces [Advice]

I was just asked to cater 300 honey barbecue wings pieces for a renewing of vows celebration next Sunday. I have an XL with an Adjustable Rig. Do you all think I can cook in one batch or will I have to cook in 2 two shifts? I would prefer to cook all on the same cook but Ill do what I have to do. I also have a Joe Jr but the capacity is very limiting.
I'll cook the wings @ 350* indirect with a few small chunks of cherry for smoke. It will be a lot of work because the two lower racks won't be as accessible as the top.
Any advice would be appreciated. This is a reason for me to get an offset smoker; which would make this cook a piece of cake.

I have an XL, but not an AR. 300 wings is a boatload. My approach would be to start early and cook them in shifts.South Jersey Pine Barrens. XL BGE , Assassin 24, Weber Kettle, CharBroil gasser, AMNPS

If you're indirect, you shouldn't really have to access the other levels other than to sauce them.

I cooked wings on my xl this weekend on the oval part up top. I would guess I had around 50 wings up there and it was full without them touching. I think 150 may even be pushing it without affecting quality.

How about this....par bake the wings in the oven. Finish on the BGE. Of course, you will need to cook in batches. I did this July 4 when I made about 200 wings.

Yup, no way you do 300. Will take three batches. Pre cook all three batches, throw them in the fridge and then warm them at the venue. Good luck brother.Sandy Springs & Dawsonville Ga
