Stoker Question Need help ASAP

Maiden voyage of my new Stoker WiFi and can't get the blower to shut off.  Set at 225 and runs all the time.  Pit temp is 350 right now.  

Little aggravated can't see it via the WiFi but that might be my router strength but who knows.

What probe is it looking at?  I messed with the front buttons once and the blower was trying to hit 250 on the food probe. Which was only 38F!

Try swapping probes if poss..  Pit probe might be not inserted fully

Stoker thinks whatever is plugged into its pit probe socket is well under 225 ( duh swordsmn). Any update?

Can your phone or ipad etc see wifi from where stoker is?  That would answer ur range worry..

swap probe- if it's at 350 and set for 250 something is wrong.  Want run time to be closer to 50%. Maybe try to reset

I think I had the blower selected for the food probe.  Thanks. I hope this fixes it.

I did the same thing on mine when I first fired it up. I changed the names of my probes afterward so I could easily identify which probe the blower was looking at.

That was it.  Stayed stable at 225
all day!!  Pulled the butts and watched the saints finally win!!  Thanks for the help.  Now to setup another router closer to the backyard.

it almost feels like cheating, doesn't it?  But easy, sit back and chill while my food smokes, cheating.

Glad you figured it out. You'll be spoiled using the Stoker all the time now.
