Jefferson Eggfest Less Than A Week Away

Seven days from right about now we will be winding down and packing up from another EGGciting day of introducing total strangers to the Big Green Egg in Jefferson, Texas. 

Hopefull, we will have treated hundreds of Ticket-Buying Tasters to the Egg's magic. And although the goal is to raise funds for the Jefferson Carnegie Library, we would like to think we enlightened a few folks enough about the Egg for them to purchase one and become an Egghead like us. 

We will begin the process of planning, packing and loading in just a few days. We're going up early so we can take advantage of the train and boat rides. Both are supposed to be pretty nice. 

Anyway, I just want to remind you once more that the Jefferson Eggfest will be held next weekend, October 10th in Jefferson, Texas (just north of Marshall, Texas.

Yeah, I was wondering if this would happen now that Morrison Supply is out of the picture.  Same is true for Athens.

Getting things ready for Jefferson Eggfest. This year we will be cooking Dill Meatloaf Sliders with a smokey horseradish sauce,  balsamic ketchup, dill pickle, slice of American cheese on a soft slider bun.
