Mini Max pizza test drive

I almost pulled the trigger on the 13inch stone since its been shown to work on the MM but decided to use my mini stones just for a test drive. MM came up to temp and steadied nice.
Home made 00 flour dough balls, 5 oz was still too much for 8.5 " pizza, since i like em a bit thinner. All worked out well, the larger stone may be on the radar.
BTW i did notice to hold 500-550 the fire was not raging like I would see on the mini and large, maybe the PS keeps alot of the excess down, im not sure but I noticed.

8.5", stone used for the mini. Larger would be nice, but there have been some saying airflow would be an issue with the 13" (stone sold for the medium bge) but fits the MM and small.Seattle, WA

Those are fine lookin pies! Now I'm craving pizza!!
Check with a scrap metal dealer and see if they have any 1/4" steel plate. I still haven't used mine for pizza, but I hear they're nice. I paid $1 a pound. You might get lucky and find a piece that fits...I hate it when I go to the kitchen for food and all I find are ingredients!

Don't they sell a 11" or 12" stone? I think that would probably fit better using the WOO with PS set-up vs the Medium stone at 13". No?LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL
