Hey guys
Put some pulled pork on yesterday and was thinking that instead of doing them on a bun I'd do a pulled pork plate. Now the question is what sides?

Cole slaw, mac-n-cheese, grilled sweet potato slices---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada

+1 on the coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans. . . some of my favorites.
If you really wanna go nuts, I'm a big fan of pork and sourkraut, so a side of kraut and mashed potatoes is pretty awesome too. Different but man does the smoke taste good with the kraut. Can always smoke a couple sausages too!Pittsburgh, PA - 1 LBGE -

Plus one on all the side dishes mentioned. In terms of baked beans, there are all sorts of recipes for doctored baked beans where you mix together beans and add in some more brown sugar, molasses, mustard etc. You toss them in foil pan and throw them on the egg for a couple hours at 225-250 to suck in some of the smoke. If you have the room you can actually piggyback doing this at the end of your pulled pork cook.

Baked beans on the grill in a cast iron pot uncovered are great. Coleslaw or potatoe salad along with some garlic Texas toast make a great meal.Gulf Coast FL

+1 with any kind of beans in a cast iron pot. Cole slaw is almost mandatory. For beans, I like something savory instead of sweet. Saute some bacon, onion, and garlic in your CI pot, add some white beans (cannelini or navy) and a little stock, and let it cook. Deelish.XLBGE, Small BGE, Homebrew and GuitarsRochester, NY
