I'm cooking the turkey for tomorrow's Christmas eve dinner and I was wondering how long a FTC will keep the turkey warm. Any thoughts?

I'd let it rest for 20-30 minutes before putting it in the cooler to keep form it overcooking(since meat cooks outside to in). Once in the cooler, you're good for at least 4 hours.

What exactly does FTC stand for?

How are you keeping it from overcooking? Is there ice in the cooler?XL BGE; Medium BGE; L BGE

I stuck a foiled and toweled butt in my Pelican last week, pretty much straight off the Egg. Used four layers of foil. It was steaming hot 6 hours later. Best butt yet.
