2 beer butt chickens and brisket chili. The birds will be pulled and foodsavered. The chili also. I'm not an experienced chili cook so I'm crossing my fingers.

Dude, I'd love snow. Growing up here we always had several good snows a year. Not anymore.

Skin looks good on those birds. What did you rub them with?

Did one with Julio's and one with Loveless Cafe Peach Rub. I ate a "little" skin before pulling. Brisket chili just came off. Waiting till Peyton gets done spanking the Titans.

I picked a recipe with little heat because the folks I'm cooking for don't like hot...at least the ladies. I substituted Chipotle chili powder and less than it called for..still a little hot. The brisket was tender and shredded a little which I liked. I'm probably gonna do another brisket and chili this week. .I'll tweak it then. Overall it was a great chili.

I don't see any PBR in the pics. WTF????

Not to get technical, but according to chemistry alcohol is a solution...

I use the Julio's even on eggs. Stuff is outstanding. Have you had their chips yet or salsa?
