It's On...Brisket is 9 hours in

Cleaned out and reloaded egg, let really slowly come up to temperature and stabilize. Egg went on at 11 last night, was a cold night out (30 degrees) and egg was stabilized at 240 grate.

Woke up this morning, grate temp had barely moved (246) and brisket stalled at 176.

Not exactly a traditional thanksgiving meal but right on schedule and hoping it turns out well.

    It's 74 this morning in Salado, how is it 60 miles South? ((( just kidding folks, cold as hell here)))

    @Mickey it's actually supposed to hit 60 tomorrow and 70 by Sunday. Just glad it's sunny again.

    Hit the 11 hour mark, IT holding at 185. Fir temp started to drop so got out my wiggle rod (close hanger), hopefully that does trick and I'm not running low on lump.
