Keeping Pulled Pork Warm Question

I am going to cook about 30 lbs. or more of Boston Butts. I am going to serve it over a period of 6 hours. What do I use to keep the pulled pork warm and moist?

  • I do this fairly often.  I use a nesco with a little bit of water in the bottom and set the nesco on the lowest setting, just enough to keep it warm or you'll dry it out.  Instead of water, I've also used cola or beer, anything will work.
