    If it is a rib end roast or other loin area roast, I usually go indirect at 350 dome until about 135, pull, then rest without foil for 15 minutes or more. (I put it in the microwave but don't turn it on) About 20-30 min per pound.If it is a boston butt it should go low and slow. Indirect at 250 dome for about two hours per pound. Pull at about 200. Publix includes cooking information on the label for roasts. It is a good starting point.
