Pork shoulder roast

Well, SWMBO bought the food yesterday. She invited her family over today and I told her the best easiest thing to make was pulled pork. I asked her to get a 6-8 lb Boston butt. Turns out, no one could make it at the last minute. So, trying to buy for the 3 of us, she only bought a 2 lb piece from Wegmans. Almost $5 per lb. Anyway, I figured it was too small to smoke. What does one do with a 2 lb piece of shoulder?

I tied it up to get it round, EVOO, garlic salt, salt and pepper and indirect roasted it. 400 for 30', then 300 for about 90 minutes more. Pulled at 185, rested for 15', carved it up and made some Cuban sammiches. We loved them. Great alternative to PP.
