I am new to egging and I love it!

After a 400 degree cook (wings, stuffed peppers, kabobs) when i was cleaning up the gasket was stuck together and peeled away from the dome, what is the best way to try and re attach?

should I just buy a high heat one and replace it?

Scrape it off, and call HQ - they should send you a Nomex replacement.  The factory gaskets are no good at high temps. I'm surprised it failed at 400F, check your thermometer by placing it in boiling water.
